Explore the ancient landscapes of North Argentina and Chile in this fun and interactive 1 to 1.5 hour online workshop!
The session includes storytelling and art activities, which aim to introduce children to the customs and beliefs of the Diaguita people. In particular, children will explore their beliefs and understandings of the sky, rain and the suri (the greater rhea), the largest bird of the Andes.
This workshop will best suit children between the ages of 6 and 10.
The workshop will take place on Zoom, Thursday 15 October 2020 at:
10.30am AEST (Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart)/ 10.00am ACST (Adelaide)/ 8.30 WA (Perth).
The workshop is $10 per family.
Once you have purchased a place for your family, you will receive by email a short workbook. This workbook contains a list of suggested materials and equipment for the main craft activity, information and activity sheets. The Zoom link will be provided by email prior to the session.
