The Ancient Explorer Book Club

book club

In December we will be starting a new group activity, The Ancient Explorer Book Club! Once a month, I plan for us to explore literary landscapes together using our imaginations.

While I am an avid reader, this year books have been especially important. They have acted as dear companions as I have navigated through choppy waters personally and professionally. The characters I have met in their literary realms have helped me dig deep and find courage, laugh and get creative. Meanwhile, I thought that creating a book club would be a beautiful way to meet others, and share our thoughts and feelings about the books we are reading.

Our first book will be the heartwarming children’s book, Song for a Whale (please embed the link https://ancientexplorer.com.au/song-for-a-whale/).

If you are planning to join us, you can purchase a copy of the book from leading retailers, including the Book Depository

You can learn more about Lynne on her website.

We will be using the educational resource available from her website as a guide. We will be using the educational resource available from her website as a guide.

The Ancient Explorer Book Club meetings will take place in our private Facebook group,  The Ancient Explorer Club. Please send a request, if you would like to join us. I will be adding a notice early next week in the group.

As part of our literary adventure, I am also planning a creative one. I will announce the creative adventure in December. You will need your journal, paints and pencils ready!
